Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and maintain documentation across the academy.
- Use AI tools daily to produce first drafts and rewrite for clarity and accuracy.
- Build, test, and refine prompts for quality AI output and document effective prompts for reuse.
- Edit AI-generated content to remove filler and ensure clarity and correctness.
- Maintain consistent voice, tone, and terminology across all published materials.
- Fact-check all information, including names, numbers, and claims, before publication.
- Build repeatable writing workflows, including templates, prompt libraries, and review steps.
- Write clear, concise prose independently.
- Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude daily, understanding their capabilities and limitations.
- Exercise editorial judgment to distinguish quality writing from AI-generated content and determine appropriate fixes.
- Use context, examples, and constraints to improve AI model output.
- Work effectively in a startup culture, including willingness to work long hours, evenings, and weekends.
- Work from the office in person.
Requirements
- Based in Austin, TX and able to work from the office in person.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude.
- Ability to distinguish quality writing from AI-generated content.
- Proficiency in using context, examples, and constraints to improve AI model output.
- Willingness to work in a startup culture with potential for long hours, evenings, and weekends.
