About the Role

As a Solution Architect within Capco, you will guide complex transformation and technology projects for financial services clients, developing future-proof solution architectures. You will provide holistic consulting on solution, application, data, integration, and cloud architectures, translating business needs into viable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Guide complex transformation and technology projects for banks, insurance companies, and other financial service providers.
Develop future-proof solution architectures in collaboration with clients.
Provide holistic consulting on solution, application, data, integration, and cloud architectures.
Translate business requirements into viable technical solutions.
Develop technical target states, solution concepts, and transformation roadmaps, overseeing their implementation from conception to deployment.
Evaluate existing system landscapes and identify optimization and modernization potential in terms of architecture, integration, scalability, security, and maintainability.
Support technological decisions regarding cloud platforms, integration architectures, APIs, microservices, data architectures, and suitable technology stacks.
Act as an interface between business, IT, development, and other stakeholders, ensuring the integration of business and technical requirements into a consistent overall architecture.
Build professional and trusting relationships with key client stakeholders and represent architectural decisions to technical and business counterparts.
Take responsibility for architectural workstreams, sub-projects, and technical teams, guiding the implementation of defined solutions based on experience.
Contribute to internal initiatives, advance Capco's technology and architecture capabilities, and share expertise within the company.

Requirements

Completed university degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences) or equivalent qualification.
Several years of relevant professional experience.
Solid experience in designing and implementing solution architectures, preferably in the banking, insurance, or financial services sector.
Broad technological understanding to translate complex business requirements into technical architectures and implementable solution concepts.
Experience with modern and traditional system landscapes, including relevant architectural principles and patterns (e.g., Cloud, APIs, Microservices, Integration, Data).
Experience with at least one relevant cloud platform and a good understanding of cloud-native architecture, security, governance, and scalability.
Familiarity with common programming languages, frameworks, and development practices to evaluate architectural decisions technically.
Experience in coordinating technical teams and workstreams, and managing diverse business and technical stakeholders is advantageous.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
Excellent communication skills.
High degree of initiative.
Flexibility regarding hybrid collaboration and on-site client assignments.
