About the Role
Join a locally owned Great Clips salon team in a leadership role where you can make a real impact. This position is ideal for a licensed stylist who enjoys coaching others, building strong teams, and ensuring optimal salon operations. It's a great opportunity for an Assistant Manager or an experienced stylist ready for full leadership responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Coach and grow salon staff
- Build staff schedules
- Work with Area Manager to ensure strong salon operations
- Manage day-to-day salon operations
- Deliver haircuts and provide services to customers
- Lead the team
- Motivate, develop, and support a team
Requirements
- Current Texas Cosmetology or Barber license required
- Valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
- Strong technical haircutting skills
- Ability to help others grow their skills and confidence
- Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfort with technology and salon tools (scheduling systems, metrics, and reports)
- Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on team performance and customer experience
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
