About the Role
Lifeguard position for Fall 2026. Priority consideration for students with Federal Work Study awards.
Responsibilities
- Administer First Aid, CPR & AED in an emergency
- Inform other guards or facility staff when more help or equipment is needed
- Complete required records and reports
- Maintain pool information records
- Inspect the facility daily and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the Aquatic Coordinator
- Perform maintenance or other tasks assigned by the Aquatic Coordinator
- Open and Close Pool
- Monitor and record pool chemicals
- Provide daily participation count and revenue collection
- Responsible for pool set up for scheduled events
- Attend all meetings and In-service training
- Understand facility rules, policies and procedures
- Maintain and clean equipment to meet safety standards
Requirements
- Current CPR, AED, First Aid and Lifeguarding certifications (for professional rescuer)
- Knowledge of TC3 Aquatic employee manual
- Ability to take control of conflict resolution situations in a fair and timely manner
- Enforce rules and policies in a firm yet polite manner
