About the Role
Develop modern cloud and platform solutions, automate development and operational processes, and reliably bring software and AI applications into production. Work with interdisciplinary project teams on technically demanding solutions for clients, combining software engineering and cloud infrastructure to create platforms for efficient development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize modern DevOps and cloud platforms.
- Translate requirements into technical solutions, guiding them from conception through implementation to production.
- Contribute ideas and take responsibility for components, technical work packages, or workstreams.
- Conceptualize, develop, and operate cloud-native platforms and applications on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes using modern CI/CD and GitOps approaches.
- Work with container technologies and orchestration platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Support the setup and operation of AI platforms and AI applications in areas such as MLOps, LLMOps, Model Serving, API integration, and Observability.
- Advise clients on technical issues and present solution approaches clearly and persuasively.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or Natural Sciences, or a qualification as a specialist in IT or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Practical experience with at least one public cloud, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or comparable container and platform technologies.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies like Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
- Strong communication skills in German and English.
- Interest in further training and project-related mobility.
