About the Role
This role offers a launchpad into face-to-face sales and long-term career growth, blending flexibility, impact, and upward mobility. You will connect with clients via phone and in person, gaining experience across the full sales cycle and positioning yourself for promotion into higher-paid Business Advisor roles.
Responsibilities
- Spend approximately 70% of the day contacting Australian business owners via phone.
- Follow up with leads via SMS, email, calls, and virtual meetings.
- Collaborate with Software Sales and Client Success Managers to convert leads.
- Assist in delivering software demonstrations.
- Meet clients in person when appropriate to finalize deals.
- Nurture new clients for up to 6 months post-sale, providing onboarding and success support.
- Achieve sales targets and progress towards Business Advisor roles.
- Proactively source leads and initiate contact through various channels.
- Manage the full sales journey from initial contact to closing deals, including virtual and in-person appointments.
- Maintain a consistent follow-up cadence across multiple communication methods.
- Provide account management and support to clients for up to six months post-sale.
- Dedicate time daily to skill development, including software training, team huddles, and coaching sessions.
Requirements
- Proven full-cycle sales experience, including prospecting, pitching, closing, and account management.
- Ability to self-source leads and build a pipeline.
- Possess a driven, goal-oriented, and resilient personality.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and tailor messages.
- Comfortable learning new systems and utilizing tools efficiently.
- Understanding of basic business concepts such as customers, invoices, and profit margins.
- Ability to work at least four 8-hour shifts per week, Monday to Friday, if seeking part-time hours.
- Arrange alternative care for dependents during scheduled work hours.
