About the Role

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of industry best practices, business processes, o9 platform, and value proposition of the planning transformation to anchor the project from design to delivery, for customers across industries and geographies
- Lead the blueprinting workshops by prescribing o9s point of view and understanding the customer’s requirements
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, configuration leads and product experts to create and document business requirements as well as detail the functional design
- Support the technical team in identifying and documenting the data required to enable the designed business processes (from various sources such as ERP systems, PLM systems, databases, excel sheets, emails, and others). Devise the strategy to create, maintain and predict the missing data elements.
- Support Project Managers in mapping user stories to sprints, detailing the project timelines, risks and getting timely customer sign-offs
- Work with the build team to configure the solution for solving client’s planning use cases
- Collaborate with the internal cross functional teams to resolve issues and validate resolutions for a successful project delivery
- Manage the build activity in terms of scope, deliverable validation, client demonstration and acceptance of the user stories
- Plan, develop and deliver Super User and End User training, for the core user base.
Requirements
- Consulting or IT system implementation project experience (business requirements gathering, problem identification, or practical experience in design, development, or testing phases)
- Experience organizing/structuring complex issues or topics and presenting them clearly in documents for discussion with clients and teams
- Experience in data analysis and logic building (methods such as Excel/SQL/Python/various analysis tools are not specified) to solve problems
- Agile methodology or sprint-based project execution experience (preferred)
- Travel 30-50% based on client requirements

- High learning motivation: Ability to absorb new technologies and unfamiliar business domains with intellectual curiosity and catch up proactively.
- Proactive action: Orientation to think about 'what is needed next' and act voluntarily for the team and project, not just waiting for instructions.
- High empathy and teamwork: Ability to empathize with customer's difficulties and create business value in collaboration with colleagues from different backgrounds and members in diverse time zones.
- Language proficiency: Native level Japanese, or a high level of negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills in business. No resistance to communication in English (emphasis on willingness to proactively engage in chats with global teams, specification checks, and use of English training tools).
- Supply chain (SCP/SCM), planning operations (demand, supply, production, etc.), or statistics/optimization technology interest/enthusiasm (preferred) practical experience not required
