Responsibilities

Demonstrate thorough knowledge of industry best practices, business processes, o9 platform, and value proposition of planning transformation to anchor projects from design to delivery.
Lead blueprinting workshops by prescribing o9's point of view and understanding customer requirements.
Collaborate with client stakeholders, configuration leads, and product experts to create and document business requirements and functional design.
Support the technical team in identifying and documenting required data from various sources and devise strategies for data creation, maintenance, and prediction.
Support Project Managers in mapping user stories to sprints, detailing project timelines, risks, and obtaining customer sign-offs.
Work with the build team to configure solutions for client planning use cases.
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to resolve issues and validate resolutions for successful project delivery.
Manage build activity including scope, deliverable validation, client demonstration, and user story acceptance.
Plan, develop, and deliver Super User and End User training for the core user base.

Requirements

Lead experience in enterprise system implementation/business transformation projects (design to value realization) within a consulting firm or IT vendor/SIer.
Experience in interviewing clients (management/department leaders) to understand abstract and complex business challenges, structuring problems, prioritizing, and guiding towards solutions.
Experience leading data model design or logic/algorithm design for problem-solving.
Experience in mentoring team members, conducting reviews, or leading project delivery.
Interest in Supply Chain Planning (SCP/SCM), planning operations (demand/supply/production), or statistical/optimization techniques (preferred).
Experience with Agile methodologies and sprint-based project execution (preferred).
Leadership skills: Deep understanding of both business and technology, ability to lead by example while hands-on.
High ownership and autonomy: Strong sense of ownership to maximize project and client success in uncertain situations, ability to proactively involve others.
Task prioritization and risk management: Ability to identify the 'most business-valuable opportunities' and 'biggest bottlenecks/risks' among diverse client requests and focus resources.
Expectation management: Ability to empathize with client issues while maintaining focus on project constraints and desired business value, clearly communicating one's own views.
High empathy and teamwork: Ability to achieve results collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and in different time zones.
Language proficiency: Native-level Japanese or advanced negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills in a business context. Comfortable with English communication (reading, writing, speaking) and willing to engage with global teams, chat, specification checks, and English training tools.
