About the Role
This is a talent pool advertisement for future Social Media / Community Management / Influencer Manager positions. Successful candidates will be employed by DEPT® but embedded within a Client’s team, offering the benefits of both in-house impact and DEPT® support. The objective is to drive brand salience, organic growth, and loyalty through community interaction, social strategies, creator programs, and campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social editorial and community strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead end-to-end influencer programs, including talent discovery, contracting, and performance tracking.
- Drive day-to-day community management, crafting engaging copy and interacting with online communities.
- Utilize social management platforms for content scheduling, workflow management, conversation monitoring, and performance reporting.
- Act as the voice of the community internally, synthesizing feedback and insights to inform strategies.
- Support cross-functional campaign execution and assist in filling out creative briefs.
- Manage paid boosting strategies for content and activations in collaboration with media specialists.
- Represent the Client at industry events, supporting on-site social coverage.
- Cultivate relationships with social platforms to position the Client as an innovative launch partner.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of Client brand guidelines and priorities to act as a creative adviser.
Requirements
- Experience working with external agency partners is a plus.
- Proven track record in community or social media management for major retail, lifestyle, or category-focused brands.
- Strong experience managing influencers or creators, with an understanding of talent briefing, content management, and measurement tools.
- Familiarity or proficiency with social management and workflow tools such as Sprinklr and Monday.com.
- Excellent social copywriting and editing skills.
- Customer-obsessed creative thinker with knowledge of internet culture, trends, and native social formats.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in social listening, channel analytics, and performance reporting.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, with meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills for collaboration across global teams and external partners.
- Ability and willingness to travel to key industry events regularly.
