About the Role
As an Associate, Cost Management at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams. Responsibilities
- Act as a key account manager in the cost management team, developing client relationships based upon partnership and trust.
- Use business development skills to engage new clients as well as repeat projects with existing clients.
- Foster top performance and growth for employees via excellent mentorship and leadership.
- Lead your team to deliver impeccable quality and client value.
- Actively participate in the tender/bid process—from initial tender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting.
- Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
- Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicate variations to your team.
- Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication.
Requirements
- Experienced cost manager on large scale construction projects with increasing levels of leadership.
- Must be MRICs qualified.
- Degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline.
- Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on varied projects.
- Excellent communicator verbally and in writing.
- Chartered or on the path to complete it.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage own priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to build strong relationships with team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun.
