About the Role

This role is for an Omnichannel Forecasting Analyst on a Fixed Term Contract until April 2027, joining the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team. The position offers the opportunity to significantly impact the business by driving sales and margin forecasting across Retail and E-Commerce, providing insight-led predictions to guide trading, financial planning, and operational decisions. The role involves close collaboration with various cross-functional teams to shape trading strategies and influence leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead forecasting across the full commercial landscape.
  • Build top-line sales forecasts by store for Retail, incorporating traffic, conversion, and average basket expectations.
  • Forecast SEPHORA Collection performance by store and channel, including sales and MOB ambitions.
  • Create detailed E-Commerce forecasts by day, week, month, and full-year outlook.
  • Translate online sales into operational order forecasts to enable Supply Chain planning.
  • Own and present the monthly forecasting meeting to senior leadership, outlining expectations, risks, opportunities, and required decisions.
  • Conduct deep-dive ad-hoc analysis to surface insights, commercial opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead margin forecasting by channel, providing guidance on promotional strategy, loyalty offers, redemptions, and code usage.
  • Partner with BI to drive a holistic view of campaign performance and optimize trading activity across channels.
  • Work closely with Finance on sales and margin alignment for budget cycles, strategic planning, and in-year reforecasts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in forecasting, merchandising, or a similar commercial analytics role, ideally within an omni beauty retail environment.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and a strong understanding of how KPIs drive performance.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and change in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the confidence to lead projects and influence decisions.
  • Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the credibility to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Intellectual curiosity, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for driving forecasting accuracy.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK and provide relevant evidence; visa sponsorship is not provided.
