About the Role
Join Opal HealthCare's Technology team as a Junior Integration Developer, an exciting opportunity for an early-career developer passionate about APIs, automation, data integration, and enterprise technology. You will work within our integration platform to develop, support, and maintain integrations across various systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system integrations, APIs, and connectors
- Configure, test, and support integration processes
- Build data mappings and transformation logic between systems
- Monitor integration performance and investigate issues
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution
- Participate in technical design, code reviews, and project delivery
- Work with data formats including JSON, XML, CSV, and database records
- Maintain technical documentation and support materials
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices
Requirements
- 1-3 years' experience in software development, integration development, application support, or a similar technical role
- Understanding of API and integration concepts
- Exposure to REST APIs, JSON, XML, and SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Willingness to obtain a police clearance certificate via Opal HealthCare's police check system
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical
