About the Role

The BRG Transaction Advisory practice is seeking professionals to support client engagements in a team-oriented environment. This role involves articulating findings and recommendations on key financial and business issues within transactions and identifying value drivers.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day activities of Corporate Finance – Transaction Advisory client service teams executing buy and sell side diligence engagements.
Demonstrate consistent, balanced project delegation, supervision, and leadership skills.
Assist in identifying issues for purchase price adjustments and potential deal structuring insights.
Utilize business, finance, accounting, and analytical skills for tasks including quality of earnings, financial trend analysis, working capital trending, benchmark, financial statement review, business plan assessments, and cash flow statements.
Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with TA and BRG experts, other professionals, and client contacts.
Lead the preparation of reports, written analyses, presentations, and client deliverables.
Participate in the development of a fast-growing, entrepreneurial consulting practice, including assisting in marketing, client pitches, and product/practice development.
Demonstrate the highest degree of professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity.
Expand network with clients to become a trusted and reputable advisor.

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree equivalent in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of work experience, ideally in a consulting or professional services environment.
Expertise in financial modeling and analysis (particularly in Excel), including constructing and understanding 3-statement financial models, cash flows, and scenario analyses.
Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data.
Ability to interpret the results of qualitative and quantitative analysis and develop insights and recommendations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with junior and senior team members, senior management, and other stakeholders or professionals.
Mature presence, empathy, intellectual curiosity, and ability to learn quickly.
Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
Ability to work well independently or in a team dynamic.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize changing work demands, and learn quickly.
Advanced in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Familiarity with financial research tools (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg, etc.).
Willingness to travel up to 25% when/if needed.
Must be able to submit verification of legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
