About the Role
Gain practical experience in an international management consultancy. The Advanced Analytics division focuses on developing best-in-class approaches and models to solve complex business problems using machine learning and advanced analytics. You will be an integral part of a project team in Healthcare & Life Sciences, supporting clients in driving their growth. You will be mentored by experienced colleagues and gain practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Support project teams in the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector to derive sound insights from complex data and develop data-driven solutions for clients.
- Perform data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, statistical analysis, and model development and evaluation.
- Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL workflows, including quality checks to ensure a reliable data basis.
- Prepare analytical results for the target audience and create dashboards, visualizations, documentation, and presentation/workshop materials.
- Support project teams in conceptualizing and testing GenAI-based solutions for Healthcare & Life Sciences challenges.
- Contribute to research, analyses, client discussions, and workshops to gain comprehensive insight into the intersection of Data Science and consulting.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an advanced Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, (Business) Informatics, Engineering, (Business) Mathematics, or a comparable field, with strong academic performance.
- Possess initial practical experience through internships in programming, machine learning, data engineering, and data visualization.
- Demonstrate knowledge in data preparation and analysis, feature engineering, statistical modeling, and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with relational databases and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in Python and/or SQL.
- Fluent English and German language skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
