About the Role
This position supports the legal aspects of PlayStation's business, focusing on partnerships with game publishers and content/service providers in Japan and Asia. It involves reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, advising on game content, campaigns, and marketing initiatives, and managing legal risks to advance business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate various agreements with partners in Japan and Asia, in both Japanese and English.
- Provide practical advice based on SIE's policies and legal perspectives for consultations regarding game content, services, and campaigns.
- Review marketing assets and promotional activities from a legal standpoint and offer necessary guidance.
- Collaborate with overseas legal personnel and internal departments to coordinate policies and resolve issues on multi-regional matters.
Requirements
- Legal practical experience in a corporate or law firm setting, with the ability to independently handle cases.
- Practical experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in both Japanese and English.
- Experience providing legal advice and support for products, services, or businesses.
- Experience working with overseas legal personnel and business departments.
- Experience driving cross-functional projects and cases spanning multiple departments and regions.
