About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will assist a diverse range of clients with daily living activities in their homes and the community.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with general domestic tasks, personal care, and meal preparation.
- Providing respite care and social support.
- Providing transport services.
- Promoting client choice, positive routines, and meaningful activities.
Requirements
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support or working towards.
- Current and valid Driver’s Licence.
- Insured, reliable motor vehicle.
- Smart mobile phone.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
- Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet.
- Willingness to complete pre-employment checks including reference checks, work rights, criminal history check, WWCC checks, and a health evaluation.
- Willingness to provide evidence of immunisation as required for the role including influenza, tuberculosis screening, hepatitis, diphtheria, tetanus, varicella.
