About the Role
Assist a diverse range of clients with activities of daily living in their homes and out in the community.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with general domestic tasks, personal care and meal preparation.
- Providing respite care, social support and transport services.
- Support clients to achieve their goals and make choices in partnership with other support networks.
- Promote client choice, positive routines and activities ensuring they are meaningful to the client.
Requirements
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support or working towards.
- Current and valid Driver’s Licence, insured, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
- Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet.
- As part of the application process, you will be required to complete pre-employment checks which may include, but is not limited to reference checks, work rights, criminal history check, WWCC checks, and a health evaluation to ensure suitability for the role.
- You will be required to provide evidence of immunisation as required for your role including, influenza, tuberculosis screening, hepatitis, diphtheria, tetanus, varicella.
