About the Role
Generate new business partnerships with schools and multi-academy trusts across the UK. Create opportunities, build relationships with educators and senior leaders, and convert prospective schools into long-term Bedrock customers. Responsible for finding new schools and trusts, converting marketing generated leads into commercial success, and guiding them through the buying journey to secure new partnerships. Seeking a commercially driven individual motivated by helping schools improve outcomes for young people.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, closing marketing leads, networking, referrals and events.
- Build relationships with school leaders, literacy and curriculum leads, and trust executives.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline across schools and multi-academy trusts.
- Understand prospective customer priorities and present Bedrock’s educational and commercial value.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations and manage multi-stakeholder sales conversations.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and secure new partnerships.
- Service online and in-person sales meetings.
- Maintain accurate records and manage opportunities in our CRM.
- Use data and market insight to manage territory and priorities.
- Forecast accurately and communicate risks and opportunities clearly.
- Track activity, pipeline progress, win rates and performance against target.
- Take ownership of individual targets and results.
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Account Management, Finance and Operations.
- Share market insight and customer feedback to support strategy and product development.
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience in new business sales within EdTech or a similar commercial environment.
- Strong record of achieving revenue or sales targets.
- Experience generating pipeline and managing a complete sales cycle.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong organisation and CRM discipline.
- Resilient, proactive and results-focused approach.
- Genuine passion for education and improving outcomes for young people.

Salary/Compensations
- £45,000-£55,000 + £35,000-40,000 OTE
