About the Role
The VP, Strategy takes a lead role across key agency accounts, conceptualizing and thinking strategically to build compelling stories and create impactful work.
Responsibilities
- Partner with account teams to define and deliver strategic priorities for client businesses.
- Drive brand strategy through to the creative process to deliver powerful and distinct brand ideas.
- Establish strong, collaborative partnerships with clients and agency partners.
- Shape compelling pitch strategies, stories, and breakthrough ideas for new business.
- Utilize the agency's brand-building philosophies, methodologies, and frameworks for consistent quality.
- Plan, develop, and facilitate workshops.
- Translate research discoveries and insights into compelling strategies and briefs.
- Be persuasive and articulate in written and verbal communication.
- Raise the bar on creative ideas to deliver work that resonates, changes opinions, motivates behavior, and pushes culture forward.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in advertising, brand strategy, brand consultancies, or similar fields.
- Experience in brand building, brand and portfolio strategy, positioning, workshop development and facilitation, market and situational analysis, and brand identity development.
- Interest in health, healthcare, and the science of medicine and innovation is essential.
- Expertise across multiple types of market research, including primary/secondary, qualitative, and quantitative.
- Strong presence and presentation skills.
- A desire to get to the heart of an idea, the crux of an insight, and the core of a problem.
- Ability to lead teams via collaboration, persuasion, and facilitation.
