About the Role

As an Assistant Front Office Manager at The Star Grand, reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of luxury hospitality, working alongside a dedicated team of professionals in one of the most iconic and prestigious properties in Sydney. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the nightly operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and an unparalleled guest experience. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will build memorable connections with both our team members and guests.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the highest standards of guest service are achieved and maintained upon check-in and during our guests stay
  • Ensure all guest comment cards are distributed to relevant departments and respond to guests when required
  • Assist with the people planning requirements including recruitment, rostering, training and development of the team

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a customer-centric approach
  • Knowledge of Opera property management system
  • Flexibility availability including evenings and weekends
