About the Role
The team is looking for a Senior Software Developer to design APIs and implement features for platform development. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and operations to design, implement, and maintain the platform and its roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Build high-quality code following unit testing and test-driven development.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document new and existing components to ensure software meets business, quality, and operational needs.
- Drive and participate in code and document reviews, mentoring the team in best practices.
- Collaborate with peer organizations, dev ops, and support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance.
- Interpret and translate business needs into technical requirements and accurate estimates.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance.
- Work with the team to troubleshoot code-level problems quickly and efficiently.
- Apply deep technical expertise to resolve challenging programming and design problems.
- Focus on scalability, security, and availability of all applications and processes.
- Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience building APIs using Node.js or Python.
- Excellent knowledge of REST API standards and web services.
- Proficient AI Assisted design and implementations.
- Experience taking requirements to design and building reusable modules.
- Experience building, scaling, and performance tuning REST APIs.
- Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving issues.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
