About the Role

We're looking for a commercially minded Commercial Analyst to support strategic customer opportunities, product development initiatives and growth investments across Origin Zero. You'll help assess opportunities, products, and partnerships that will support our customers and shape the future of energy.
Responsibilities
- Develop financial and commercial models that support customer, product and investment decisions
- Analyse customer needs, energy usage and commercial drivers to identify value-creating solutions
- Support strategic tenders, commercial proposals and business cases
- Contribute to M&A opportunities, due diligence activities and market assessments
- Deliver insights and recommendations that influence decision-making across the business
Requirements
- Degree qualifications in Finance, Computer Science, Commerce, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline
- 2-5 years' experience in commercial analysis, financial modelling or a similar role
- Strong financial modelling capability and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical thinking and commercial judgement
- The ability to translate complex information into practical business recommendations
- Experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure or related industries will be highly regarded, particularly exposure to embedded networks, distributed energy solutions, batteries or EV charging technologies.
