About the Role
The Production Engineering Specialist ensures products meet high standards and customer requirements. This role involves wiring, assembly, testing, and calibration of equipment, ensuring full functionality before delivery and maintaining a high level of service.
Responsibilities
- Wiring, assembly, and testing of production equipment in line with project requirements.
- Cleaning, processing, and logging of equipment returns and RMAs.
- Providing cover for goods in/out during annual leave.
- Calibration and building of radar units.
- Supporting development with prototype builds.
- Fault finding and repair of equipment.
Requirements
- Experience of mechanical assembly.
- Wiring/soldering/crimping.
- Cable assembly.
- Good general IT skills, including use of MS Office programs.
- Ability to work to tight timescales and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow work instructions/drawings/diagrams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
