About the Role

The Lead Associate supports the day-to-day servicing of large multinational commercial clients within Willis Canada’s Incoming Specialty Group, working closely with clients, colleagues, and WTW’s global network in a specialized team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process, invoice, deliver, and service globally placed North American policies by collaborating and communicating with the Network.
  • Document internal and external strategy meetings by collaborating with the internal team.
  • Draft exposure and underwriting information, deliver it to the client, and gather updates from the client.
  • Coordinate and support all day-to-day client service and consultation.
  • Develop complete and accurate submissions for Placement.
  • Collaborate with Placement specialists throughout the placement process, communicating and gathering information to/from the client.
  • Design and build full client proposals, including coverage comparison provided by Placement.
  • Request and obtain binders from insurers and perform or obtain the second set of eyes review.
  • Deliver binders and/or policies to clients with appropriate transmittal letters.
  • Assist with follow-ups to clients for subjectivities.
  • Request and process endorsements and audits by collaborating with the internal team.
  • Draft fee agreements by collaborating with Associates and other appropriate resources.
  • Complete joint work/process steps, including billing of premiums and fees, by collaborating and communicating with Domestic and Global Center teams.
  • Maintain account management information in appropriate systems.
  • Assist with the unlicensed placement due diligence process and complete associated documentation.
  • Request and verify accurate delivery of agency bill invoices and coordinate with accounting, including calculating premium and tax allocations.
  • Secure Premium Financing quotes and deliver them to the client.
  • Assist with billing adjustments as requested by Associates.
  • Complete review checklists and deliver the final policy check letter to the client if no discrepancies are found.

  • Complete the Certificate template as needed to allow the Certs Team to issue certificates.
  • Attend client meetings as required.
