About the Role

Join ASX, a leading global securities exchange and trusted market operator, as part of the Transformation and Operational Performance (TOP) team within ASX Supervision. This multi-disciplinary team enables the division to achieve strategic outcomes by designing, implementing, and embedding continuous improvements to operational and risk management practices.

Responsibilities

Prepare timely and high-quality periodic reports for executive, board, and regulatory submissions.
Design and build reports and dashboards providing actionable insights and commentary for management.
Perform ad hoc data analysis and prepare clear, concise reports articulating findings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data and analysis solutions.
Maintain good record-keeping, documentation, and knowledge of reporting processes and data sources.
Identify and implement enhancements to current reporting processes.
Assist in automating processes using data.
Develop expert knowledge in using 3rd party applications (IRESS, Capital IQ, Bloomberg) to augment internal data analytics.
Undertake data management initiatives such as data quality monitoring, reconciliations, data validations, and remediation to ensure integrity of regulatory and management reporting.

Requirements

2+ years of experience as a data analyst or similar role.
Prior experience in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
Experience with data programming languages such as Python and/or R.
Strong investigative and analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A diligent record keeper.
Must be legally authorized to work in Australia on a permanent basis without restrictions.
