About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders with daily service
- Maintain overall bar cleanliness
- Prepare batches and other cocktail ingredients
- Wash and organize glassware
- Retrieve and keep adequate levels of bar stock
- Clean as part of opening and closing duties
- Opening and closing tabs
- Preparing ice and garnishes
- Receiving liquor and putting away
- Organizing the liquor room, dry storage and hallway
- Preparing cocktail batches
- Breaking down cardboard and disposing of it
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barback or barista is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to follow directions
- Basic math skills or an ability to use a calculator and understand proportions
- Good interpersonal skills
- Has or is willing to obtain a CA Food Handler’s Certification and RBS training required
- 21+ years of age or older
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
