About the Role

As a member of Zip's GTM Strategy & Operations team, you will partner with the Customer Success organization, owning the operating rhythms, models, and metrics for customer coverage, retention, and growth. You will bring structure to a fast-scaling organization by standardizing post-sales work methods and driving cross-functional collaboration for a cohesive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own post-sales operations, including book design, rebalancing, segmentation, metrics, and reporting.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner for post-sales leadership and executives, solving complex problems and framing key decisions.
  • Drive the GTM cadence and accountability by managing operating rhythms such as book reviews, renewal forecasts, at-risk and churn reviews, QBRs, and leadership syncs.
  • Lead cross-functional execution across Sales, Marketing, CS, Product, and Finance to advance strategic initiatives and ensure team alignment.
  • Utilize SQL, spreadsheets, and BI tools for analysis, assumption validation, and uncovering insights to improve GTM execution and drive growth.
  • Own special projects, including building renewal forecast processes and redefining health score systems.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in customer success/post-sale operations, sales strategy, revenue operations, consulting, investing, or a similar high-performance environment.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills, with fluency in Excel/Sheets and proficiency in SQL or willingness to learn.
  • Deep understanding of the post-sale customer lifecycle and SaaS business models.
  • Familiarity with retention and expansion metrics (NRR, GRR, churn), account health, CSM/Solutions Consultant coverage models, and implementation/time-to-value velocity.
  • Experience working with RevOps systems such as Salesforce, Gong, Superset, and others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure thinking clearly, write concise memos, and present to executives.
  • High attention to detail, with a focus on problem-solving and setting a high quality bar.
  • High bias for action, with the ability to move fast, think in tradeoffs, and find solutions.
  • Technically inclined, comfortable with systems like Salesforce Flows and data integration.
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to drive alignment across stakeholders.
  • Proven operator with experience managing large, ambiguous projects requiring both strategic thinking and tactical execution.
