About the Role
The Program Manager, Inventory Planning Strategy, leads the assessment, design, documentation, and implementation of inventory planning capabilities. This role manages process improvement, automation, reporting, and system-enhancement initiatives, translating business needs into standardized processes and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct current-state assessments through workflow mapping, stakeholder interviews, data analysis, time studies, and gap assessments.
- Identify inefficiencies, inconsistencies, control gaps, and opportunities for standardization or automation.
- Facilitate cross-functional working sessions to define business requirements and future-state processes.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, use cases, acceptance criteria, process controls, and implementation specifications.
- Partner with Technology, Business Intelligence, analytics, and other solution teams to evaluate solution options and support system enhancements, reporting capabilities, integrations, and automation.
- Provide process documentation, subject-matter context, requirements, and implementation guidance for training materials, onboarding resources, playbooks, and support tools.
- Build strong partnerships across brands and functions while balancing enterprise standards with legitimate business-specific requirements.
- Support the ongoing prioritization of the Inventory Planning Strategy roadmap based on business impact, scalability, complexity, resource requirements, and strategic alignment.
Requirements
- 5+ or more years of experience in inventory planning, retail planning, business process design, supply chain transformation, program management, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of multiple inventory planning functions.
- Experience leading requirements-gathering sessions and translating business needs into solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from discovery and design through implementation.
- Strong facilitation, written communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to partner effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Salary/Compensations
- $120,000-$135,000
