About the Role
As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring coordination of various teams and stakeholders to ensure progress and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Manage project goals and deliverables on a timeline, using the roadmap to manage stakeholder expectations, communicate plans, and coordinate resources.
- Collaborate with team members or stakeholders to understand work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
- Complete risk identification, assessment, and mitigation plans, monitor foreseeable risks, and record their evolution and influence on project/program objectives.
- Establish and track processes in collaboration with stakeholders, hold teams accountable for following processes, identify sponsors and stakeholders, secure resources, ensure work alignment with compliance/privacy policies, identify opportunities, implement process improvements, and support process adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in program or project management.
- 7 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Skills
- Program Management certification
- Experience in Program Management with a technology company
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Ability to identify, collect, and analyze relevant data to help drive informed decisions

Salary/Compensations
- Canada: $180000 - $184000 (CAD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
