About the Role
Mid-Hudson Subaru, part of the VIP Automotive Group of Long Island, is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance standards. This role is crucial for maintaining our commitment to exceptional customer value and service.
Responsibilities
- Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately
- Diagnose mechanical issues and complete necessary repairs
- Complete software updates and key programming
- Collaborate with parts department to secure needed parts
- Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service needs
- Document all work performed on repair orders
- Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles and work areas
- Support and train apprentice technicians
- Stay up to date on manufacturer bulletins and training

- Proven diagnostic and repair skills
- Must meet essential job duties with or without accommodation
