About the Role
Lead the strategy and execution for a suite of data products serving RV, Powersports, Marine, and Trailer businesses. These products help dealers, manufacturers, and industry stakeholders make smarter business decisions with data. Own the entire product lifecycle, from discovery to design to delivery and performance management, driving the product vision to meet customer needs, optimize revenue, and align with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Drive the vision & strategy for our data product portfolio based on customer research, market analysis, client interviews, and industry trends.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for data products, from discovery through delivery, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and structure.
- Define, instrument, and achieve target KPIs tied to data product adoption, usage, and customer value.
- Own the roadmap, balancing new data product development, BI platform enhancements, and custom reporting requests.
- Partner closely with data engineering, analytics/data science, and BI teams to define data pipelines, report structures, and dashboard capabilities.
- Lead a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality, reliable data products, coordinating with engineering, QA, design, customer service, and sales.
- Act as the subject-matter expert on customer and industry data needs, working directly with dealers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends, competitive data offerings, and customer feedback across RV, Powersports, Marine, and Trailer segments to shape product strategy.
- Optimize products post-launch by tracking usage, adoption, revenue, and other success metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in product management, business, data analytics, computer science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years managing data products, reporting tools, or BI/analytics platforms.
- Hands-on experience with data-centric products — data feeds/exports, custom reporting, or business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, TIBCO's Spotfire, Pyramid Analytics).
- Experience supporting analytics, reporting, AI/ML, or decision-support use cases.
- Familiarity with the RV, Powersports, Marine, Trailer, or adjacent dealer/OEM industries is a plus.
- Expertise in outcome-prioritization frameworks and modern product-discovery methods.
- Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, and data-driven iteration; comfortable with BI and product-analytics dashboards.
- A team player who can lead with clarity, move quickly, and navigate the fast-paced nature of cross-functional product development.
- Strong communication skills, able to translate complex data concepts for both technical and executive/non-technical audiences.
- Comfort with Agile Scrum or Kanban; excellent organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities.
