About the Role
BeneLynk is building the technology platform that powers Veteran Directed Care (VDC), a VA program that gives veterans the flexibility to direct their own long-term in-home care. The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, testing, and proposing measures to correct or improve the organization’s products to meet established quality, functional, and compliance standards. This role designs and executes test strategies, plans, suites, cases, and scripts to validate product functionality End-to-End, identifying, logging, and reproducing defects before they reach the user.
Responsibilities
- Represent BeneLynk’s Customers by understanding business needs and the lived experience of veterans, caregivers, and Direct Care Workers.
- Ensure Product Quality through End-to-End validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of product functionality.
- Validate Program and Payroll Integrity, including complex program logic, boundary conditions, and error-state handling.
- Foster an effective and collaborative team structure, working with colleagues across technical, business, and operational departments.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, test suites, test cases, and test scripts.
- Execute role-based testing across all platform personas.
- Validate the VDC service lifecycle End-to-End.
- Identify appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate product attributes.
- Test the self-service module against real-world usage conditions.
- Support accessibility validation against WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Review design specifications, wireframes, prototypes, and project/product parameters.
- Conduct testing and analysis to ensure products perform according to user requirements.
- Assist in Requirements Gathering (RG) with stakeholders and end users.
- Provide testing scope/overview documentation, test plans, test results, and associated tickets.
- Maintain clear documentation of test coverage, results, and decisions.
- Identify, log, and recreate error codes, bugs, and defects.
- Respond quickly to QA/UAT and/or Production (PRD) issues.
- Devise best practices, processes, and procedures to inspect and report quality issues.
- Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting, analyzing, and communicating quality data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including Product Management, Design, Engineering, Operations, and Leadership.
- Work on multiple initiatives to prioritize features, devise program testing and analysis requirements, and create corresponding documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Product Officer and/or BeneLynk leadership personnel.
Requirements
- 2–4+ years in Quality Assurance (QA) and/or User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including experience leading product testing and analysis efforts.
- Experience in Agile business/software development lifecycle processes and methodologies.
- Experience with or knowledge of SCRUM fundamentals, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Experience performing End-to-End testing across multiple applications.
- Experience developing test plans, test scripts, and a coverage matrix.
- Ability to create test plans, test suites, and test cases from project/product specifications or verbal communication.
- Experience creating written QA/UAT test reports showcasing test progress, status, test plan completion, defects identified, and associated risks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
