About the Role
This designer would be responsible for designing all inhouse Rugs, yarn dyes and Jacquard. They would be working directly with sourcing and the vendors to create high quality original art at a strategic value.
Responsibilities
- Designing all in-house rugs, jacquards and yarn dyes
- Creating concepts and presenting to leadership and cross functional team members
- Meeting with vendors to discuss design and cost capabilities
- Pitching colors
- Keeping up on trends, qualities and fabrications
- Following up on production timelines
- Maintaining organization in category
- Travel when needed for production
- Setting up concept digitally and in physical showrooms spaces
- Collaborating and working with others
- Working with contractors when needed
- Should be able to physically move samples or manage the movement when needed
Requirements
- Strong design sense meeting strong technical experience in the above fabrication.
- Should understand weaving and how different yarns effect color and quality
- Aspirational design sense with a strong cost engineering skillset
- Should have understanding of home design and aesthetic
- Should be able to communicate clearly and have a collaborative spirit

- $72,000 - $84,000
