About the Role
Van Bortel Automotive Group is seeking a motivated individual to join their team. The company emphasizes high standards of integrity, an aggressive and enthusiastic attitude, and a commitment to providing excellent customer support and employee security.
Responsibilities
- Process documents for state registration, including tax and title documents.
- Process payoffs, registrations for new and pre-owned vehicles, license plate issuing and transfers, and obtain dealer titles.
- Send bills, contracts, warranties, and service contracts to the appropriate agencies, such as the department of motor vehicles.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of required forms, including vehicle sale and purchase prices.
- Maintain files for sales, prices, payments, warranties, service contracts, and other pertinent vehicle sale/transfer information.
- Maintain titles and MSOs for inventory.
- Prepare and submit title work for sold vehicles to the DMV.
- Enter used vehicle purchases into inventory.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Automotive experience preferred.
- Highly organized with an eagerness to improve.
- Willingness to take initiative.
- Computer literacy, quality writing and grammar skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks easily.
- Ability to provide quality customer service.
- Ability to work with all levels of employees.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
