About the Role
Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Clerk in Jamestown, North Dakota to provide excellent customer service by completing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, and to maintain clean pharmacy work areas.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
- Champion Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx and assist with enrolling patients.
- Receive, unpack and check merchandise to verify all merchandise is received and in acceptable condition.
- Stock, clean and sort pharmacy product.
- Maintain health aids department.
- Learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and modify job responsibilities as required.
- Help anywhere in the store or nearby locations as needed.
- Fulfill essential job functions with good attendance and punctuality.
- Stand for long periods.
- Talk and hear.
- Use hands and fingers, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Utilize specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
- Possess attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
