About the Role

The Senior Manager, Data Center Facility Engineering leads the engineering, maintenance, and commissioning of critical data center infrastructure to ensure operational readiness and high availability across electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems. This role drives rapid resolution of infrastructure faults and incidents, provides strategic engineering leadership, and partners with various stakeholders to safely integrate new systems into live environments.

Responsibilities

Oversee critical infrastructure maintenance and repairs.
Lead change management reviews for critical maintenance activities.
Ensure work plans, risk assessments, method-of-procedure documentation, rollback plans, stakeholder communications, and execution controls protect data center availability.
Lead incident response and post-incident reviews.
Direct root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action plans.
Validate commissioning and design deliverables.
Oversee site assessments and build activities.
Establish consistent operational policies and procedures.
Hold colo partners accountable to contractual requirements.
Lead multiple medium- to large-scale initiatives.
Remove operational blockers.
Align work to organizational priorities.
Ensure compliance with Oracle safety standards, industry best practices, and business objectives.
Develop engineering capability through training, mentoring, drill programs, performance coaching, workforce planning, and talent development.
Foster cross-functional collaboration.
Drive continuous improvement.
Build resilient, high-performing teams capable of supporting complex, global data center operations.

Requirements

Accountable for maintaining high availability across electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems.
Ensuring SLA performance.
Driving rapid, disciplined resolution of infrastructure faults and incidents.
Partner closely with design, construction, commissioning, facility engineering, data center operations, colo partners, and other stakeholders.
