About the Role
The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides support to individuals who need assistance with daily activities and personal care. The position requires patience, responsibility, good communication, and a commitment to treating clients with dignity and respect.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with eating, walking, and other daily activities.
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Provide companionship and support to clients.
- Communicate with family members or supervisors about client needs.
- Follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Treat clients and coworkers with dignity and respect.
- Attend required training and maintain punctual attendance.
Requirements
- No previous work experience is required.
- Must have a strong work ethic, be reliable and responsible, have good communication skills, and be willing to learn.
- Must have a genuine interest in and desire to provide quality care to clients.
- Must provide a state-issued ID, Social Security Card, proof of address, and two references.
- There will be 1 week of unpaid training with mandatory attendance. You may not miss any training dates. Please ensure your attendance and punctuality.
