About the Role
Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology seeking talented individuals to deploy groundbreaking robotic assisted surgical therapies. This role involves managing the integration and utilization of the HUGO surgical robot within hospitals, partnering with stakeholders to drive transformational changes and optimize operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of system installation, start-up, and customer training for the HUGO surgical robot.
- Develop program goals and metrics in collaboration with robotic program stakeholders.
- Conduct regular program review meetings to ensure progress.
- Develop and coordinate surgeon and staff training plans, including off-site training and post-training support.
- Support technology adoption by attending cases during surgeon and staff learning sessions.
- Utilize change management techniques to engage clinical stakeholders and gain buy-in.
- Coach hospital staff to promote skill transfer and achieve operational excellence.
- Cooperate with field service engineers and hospital staff to prepare operating rooms for system installation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree at a minimum (Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, etc.).
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel throughout the region (UK & Ireland) (>75%).
- Demonstrable experience over 2 years, including relevant knowledge and experience of operating rooms and surgical procedures.
