About the Role
Tucker Ellis LLP is seeking Attorneys with 2-7 years of litigation experience to join our trial practice in San Francisco. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in all areas of civil litigation, including hands-on trial experience with trial teams that have successfully defended Fortune 500 companies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with partners on complex litigation matters
- Assist in developing case strategy and client counseling
- Participate in all stages of trial preparation, including discovery, witness preparation, and courtroom advocacy
- Handle court appearances and argue motions
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Work with fact and expert witnesses
- Take and defend depositions
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- 2-7 years of experience with an interest in litigation
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Experience drafting motions, taking and defending depositions, and handling discovery
- Trial experience or interest in trying cases
- Admitted to practice in California
