About the Role
As the head of logistics within the Sales Service Operation team, you will be responsible for shipping, inventory management, import/export operations, and outsourced warehouse management. This role will drive the standardization of logistics processes and promote operational reforms utilizing ERP (SyteLine). You will lead the standardization of Sales, Service, and Logistics operations, establishing an efficient and accurate operational structure with SyteLine as the Single Source of Truth. As a hands-on manager in a small team, you will be involved in the actual logistics work, driving operational improvements, SOP development, inventory management enhancement, and continuous operational optimization. Future plans include optimizing outsourced warehouse operations, transitioning to logistics operations using SyteLine, and potentially relocating/restructuring the logistics setup. You will lead the construction of a robust logistics foundation where logistics and systems are integrated through item master management, inventory data management, and operational rule development.
Responsibilities
- Manage logistics operations including shipping arrangements, shipping instructions, receipt/shipment processing, inventory management, delivery arrangements, progress management, and compliance with import/export regulations.
- Oversee the entire logistics operation, utilizing SyteLine for operational execution.
- Visualize shipping, inventory, and import/export processes.
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Reduce manual and Excel-based management tasks.
- Standardize inbound/outbound and delivery flows.
- Promote various improvement projects.
- Maintain and manage inventory and shipping data.
- Manage progress within the ERP system.
- Identify issues and propose improvements.
- Support internal controls and audit responses related to inventory management.
Requirements
- Practical experience in logistics, shipping, and inventory management.
- Basic knowledge of logistics operations such as inbound/outbound and delivery.
- Experience using ERP systems (SAP, SyteLine, etc.).
- Ability to work accurately and responsibly, and to proactively manage practical tasks.
- Experience in import/export and customs procedures.
- Experience in operational improvement and efficiency enhancement.
- Experience in SOP creation and operational standardization.
- Experience in ERP implementation and promoting system utilization.

Salary/Compensations
- 8,000,000 - 10,000,000 JPY (negotiable based on experience and skills)
- Monthly salary: 570,000 - 720,000 JPY (overtime allowance not applicable)
