About the Role

The Site Supervisor will provide journeyman-level support and assist the Project Manager in making critical decisions for the contract. This position is responsible for managing and maintaining various building systems and equipment, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, pumps, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Supervise employees engaged in the operation, maintenance, and repair of on-site equipment and systems.
Conduct routine assessments and perform preventative and reactive maintenance.
Perform constant reviews on operating and servicing functions to ensure continuous service and prevent breakdowns.
Monitor and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guides regularly.
Ensure personnel perform all tasks safely and effectively.
Ensure staff operate and maintain site-critical engineering systems and equipment in accordance with diagrams, operating manuals, industry best practices, and manufacturers' specifications.
Support staff with engineering systems, drawings, and equipment, including boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, electrical distribution systems, generators, and UPS systems.
Operate and maintain critical systems such as HVAC, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generators, batteries, switchgear, life safety and building automated systems, and utility systems.
Make periodic inspections of all engineering systems and equipment, monitor operations, and maintain equipment operating logs and operational reports.
Proficiently use test equipment and devices pertinent to building operating systems and analyze test results.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

4 years of experience within the past 7 years in the operations and maintenance of commercial facilities similar in scope and size.
Experience with managing preventative and reactive work order maintenance schedules.
Ability to communicate professionally, positively, and effectively with government representatives, vendors, and customers.
Proficient in computer applications including work order systems, Microsoft Office, and email applications.
Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and lead projects to completion.
Experience in CMMS systems.
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to sit, stoop, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to use hands, arms, and fingers to handle, reach, and feel.
Must have sufficient endurance to maintain assigned work hours and perform tasks over long periods of time.
Must be able to use heavy machinery.
Must be able to climb step stools and ladders.
