About the Role

ACS is a defense technology company building precision robotic systems. This internship offers the opportunity to work on software that connects sensors, computer vision models, and control systems into a working autonomous weapon system, real-time systems, tools and interfaces, and full-stack or backend projects supporting engineering, manufacturing, or field operations.

Responsibilities

  • Work on software that connects sensors, computer vision models, and control systems into a working autonomous weapon system.
  • Contribute to real-time systems where latency and reliability are critical.
  • Develop tools and interfaces for engineers and operators, including embedded Linux applications and internal tooling.
  • Engage in full-stack or backend projects supporting engineering, manufacturing, or field operations.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Coursework or project experience in one or more of C++, Python, Kotlin, or Java.
  • Curiosity about real-time, embedded, or systems-level software.
  • A builder's mindset; preference for shipping and iterating over waiting for a perfect specification.
