About the Role
The Full-Time Classroom Special Education Teacher will be responsible for implementing lesson plans for students with developmental disabilities in accordance with NYSED Guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans for students with developmental disabilities in accordance with NYSED Guidelines.
Requirements
- NYSED certification: Students with Disabilities Birth - Grade 2 and/or Students with Disabilities 1-6
- Ability to develop and implement differentiated instruction in accordance with NYSED standards
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis highly preferred
- Bi-lingual a plus
