About the Role
Learn the fundamentals of real estate valuation and gradually take on more responsibility, including market and mortgage lending value appraisals for residential properties and assisting with the valuation of commercial properties and portfolios. Prepare, attend, and follow up on property viewings, research and analyze market data, and support plausibility checks and quality assurance measures. Contribute to process and standard development and collaborate closely with experienced appraisers for professional development.
Responsibilities
- Support in the creation of market and mortgage lending value appraisals for residential properties
- Assist in the valuation of commercial properties and real estate portfolios
- Preparation, accompaniment, and follow-up of property viewings
- Research and analysis of market data and property-specific information
- Support in plausibility checks and quality assurance measures
- Assist in the further development of processes and standards within the team
- Close collaboration with experienced real estate appraisers who will support your professional development
Requirements
- Completed degree in real estate management, a real estate apprenticeship, or a comparable qualification
- Initial practical experience in the real estate industry, real estate valuation, or financial services through internships, working student positions, or entry-level roles is advantageous
- Additional advantages include a qualification for valuation in the small loan sector and/or experience with LORA
- Interest in market and mortgage lending valuation of real estate
- Initial knowledge of valuation methods is desirable
- Confident use of MS Office
- Analytical thinking and a structured, meticulous approach to work
- Enjoyment of learning, initiative, and team spirit
