About the Role
Build is launching a planet-scale data collection effort to solve physical labor. This is a highly autonomous role where you will own the results of your region end-to-end, operating on-ground to develop, master, and scale each part of the data collection system. You are expected to be a founder-operator who owns the results of the entire region/country.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities and regions for expansion and execute the launch strategy independently.
- Build exceptional local sales teams (both door to door and cold calling).
- Run meta ads or UGC.
- Send mass cold outbounds.
- Establish partnerships with local businessmen, politicians, and enterprises.
- Scale rapidly and reliably.
- Build your team.
- Set up the logistics and upload infrastructure.
- Design the correct incentive structures to compress costs and increase predictability of data collection.
- Resolve regulatory complications.
- Ensure timely delivery of high quality data.
- Constantly question and innovate on every aspect of data scaling to accelerate the company.
Requirements
- High agency, aggressive, and creative operators/founders in each country to launch operations, blitz scale, and ensure reliable delivery of high quality diverse data.
- Founder-operator who owns the results of the entire region/country.
- Fully in-person team.
- Greatly value engineering skills.
- No boundaries between engineering and research; expect all technical staff to contribute to both and work across disciplines as needed.
