About the Role

This role is responsible for identifying test calculation scenarios, executing test calculations using retirement calculation software, verifying results, and reporting and tracking anomalies.
Responsibilities
- Communicates with functional leaders and business analysts to understand testing scope.
- Analyzes technical documents to identify required test scenarios.
- Executes and verifies calculation results of test scenarios, reports anomalies.
- Keeps the test suite up-to-date with new or changed features.
- Participates in team meetings and calculation review sessions.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams for problem-solving.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of verification processes.
Requirements
- 4 years of relevant experience in Canadian pension plan administration.
- Experience in verification of pension plan calculations.
- Experience in pension plan implementation.
- Proficiency in pension calculation tools.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Effective priority management.
- Advanced knowledge of English is required for interaction with external and internal parties and for using English-only IT tools.
Skills
- VBA programming skills
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar job management tool
- Fluency in English and French (written and verbal)
