About the Role
Pixelogic is seeking experienced Korean-into-Japanese In-house QC Editors to collaborate globally on end-to-end client projects. The ideal candidate is motivated, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and comfortable working within a team that manages changing priorities. Time flexibility is crucial due to sensitive delivery schedules.
Responsibilities
- Proofread and edit Korean to Japanese translated content using subtitling software.
- Utilize in-house glossary tools and follow client style guide specifications for consistency.
- Handle rejections and make corrections in files.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and adapt to evolving client requirements.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive content.
Requirements
- Korean/Japanese bilingual proficiency.
- Minimum of 3 years of translation and/or proofreading experience.
- Demonstrated ability to accomplish work on a rigorous schedule, including on-time delivery and flexible working hours.
- Ability to follow technical and style guides for multiple client content types.
Skills
- SSTG1Pro subtitling software knowledge is desirable.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good command of English is preferred.
- Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
