Responsibilities
- Assist in meal and food preparation and service for patients, employees, and special events as instructed by the Dietary Manager.
- Serve food and snacks according to the planned menu, resident preferences, and diet orders.
- Assist the Cook by ensuring food is prepared and portioned using proper food handling and safety techniques, is completed on time, and adheres to the menu and resident diet orders.
- Wash dishes as necessary or when instructed by the Dietary Manager.
Requirements
- Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
- Food handler's permit preferred according to local regulatory requirements.
- Experience in food preparation and service within a skilled nursing or long-term care facility strongly preferred.
- Must be able to speak, understand, and write in fluent English.
- Reliable transportation required.

Salary/Compensations
- USD $16.00 - USD $18.00 /Hr.
