About the Role
We are seeking an IT System Administrator to manage and develop our internal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, clients, and cloud services. This role involves user account administration, endpoint management, and providing IT support.
Responsibilities
- Manage the setup, operation, and further development of our internal IT infrastructure (servers, network, clients, cloud services).
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and endpoints (Windows/macOS).
- Provide first and second-level support to all employees, escalating to external service providers as needed.
- Manage and develop IT security measures (backup, patch management, access controls).
- Maintain and administer software and cloud solutions, including Atlassian products, M365, or similar.
- Plan and implement IT projects (e.g., system migrations, hardware procurement, process automation).
- Create and maintain IT documentation and internal policies.
- Act as the point of contact for external IT service providers and suppliers.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or degree in computer science, IT system administration, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in system administration.
- Sound knowledge of network technology, client/server administration, and IT security.
- Experience with cloud services and ideally with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
- Structured, solution-oriented approach to work and a hands-on mentality.
- Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
