About the Role
Deliver consultancy and design services to AESG’s clients, execute projects, and assist in business development activities related to consultancy services.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage, lead, and undertake project delivery and resolve client-facing project issues.
- Perform inspection, design, and plan review for fire protection systems and life safety according to relevant fire codes.
- Prepare and implement fire and life safety strategy reports and designs.
- Oversee and review the work of junior employees, assisting them with complex situations.
- Demonstrate discipline expertise with a proven track record of success.
- Deliver high-quality consultancy projects within deadlines.
- Assist the FLS Director in commercial project management and delivery.
- Protect AESG liability exposure and manage technical risk across projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidance for fire safety, design, and implementation.
- Support the development of procedures to improve division function and efficiency.
- Mentor and support the training and development of junior employees.
- Assist in proposal preparation.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Actively pursue continued professional development through training modules.
- Engage in the implementation and maintenance of the IMS and its processes.
- Conduct all activities in a quality, healthy, and safe manner, reporting any observed problems/risks.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 4-8 years of experience.
- Preferable experience with Fire modelling such as Pyrosim/FDS or equivalent & Evacuation modelling.
